Sonny and Cher’s daughter-turned-son Chaz Bono recently did his first interview while speaking to Oprah about undergoing his life changing gender reassignment surgery.
Chaz was christened Chastity as a little girl, and was spotted regularly with her blonde locks and cutesy smile on her parents parents’ TV show in the seventies. In the new interview with Oprah, Chaz told her that he felt his body was “literally betraying” him as he went through puberty, and he watched in horror as his shape changed from athletic curvy.
