The last girl standing and a runner up in the first season of the popular, 2008 Project Fame West Africa, Annette Cookey is launching out fully into the music scene with two singles “Ife mi” and “Why”. Ace producer Tee Y Mix is the producer of “Ife mi”, a song which showed her vocal powers and the freshness of a generation ready to take music to a global level. The other single “Why”, is a dance love song with Salsa and Calypso flavor.
Annette Cookey, a graduate of University of Port Harcourt who hails from Rivers state will be teaming up with her new promotion and management company to launch her music to a global audience, says Akpor Gbemre, CEO of 411 Entertainment Company. The timing of her album release has not been revealed but it has been confirmed the R&B crooner will be among artistes to headline the Allstars Tour storming Kaduna this November.
