Things are heating up in the Project Fame West Africa Academy with one more elimination show before the finale. The question for now is, “Who makes it to the top 4 finale on December 7?”
The remaining 5, Nii, Iyanya, Annette, Bisola, and Praise are counting on public votes to move to the final stage of the competition. Sadly one of them will leave this weekend after wonderful performances last week. There’s so little to choose from among the contestants that the judges and faculty members of the academy urged the public to vote wisely based on performances through out the competition.
If I must choose, I would say the competition is for the boys since they have outclassed the girls for the most part of the competition. Annette has been the strongest female student throughout although she’s been sick and weak in the past two weeks. Bisola is more of the ‘clown’, who keeps everyone in the academy happy. But based on performances she is my least favourite.
Well, it’s a good thing I’m not the one to choose. Good luck to all contestants.

MR. BONES 2: BACK FROM THE PAST
Mr. Bones 2 is a follow-up to the wildly popular movie, Mr. Bones. This South African movie had a very successful sneak preview, showing to a sellout crowd. The story is about Hekule, the King of Kuvukiland who is given a gemstone by the dying Kunji Balanadin.
The stone is cursed, causing Hekule to become possessed by the spirit of the mischievous Kunji. It is up Mr. Bones, the royal witch doctor to cure his King and get rid of this cursed stone by returning the gem to its home in an Indian fishing village.
The film’s humor is similar to Mr. Bean or Monty Python with the travel into the future providing humor as the man from the past learns that things have really changed. With an accomplished cast, the film is sure to delight folks who love slapstick humor.

CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF FEATURES
Thandie Newton and Chiwetel Ejiofor are set to play the parts of Maggie the Cat and Brick, respectively, in the wildly popular Broadway show, ‘Cat On A Hot Tin Roof‘.
The show will be performed at the London Theater and will also include stars, Phylicia Rashad (Big Momma) and James Earl Jones (Big Daddy). Debbie Allen will direct the play.
Ejiofor is an accomplished theater stage actor with several awards under his belt including the Olivier Award, and the Evening Standard Theater Award. Thandie Newton is new to Theater, but with several film awards under her belt, we doubt the adjustment would be difficult for her. Phylicia Rashad and James Earl Jones were the original cast in the Broadhurst production featuring Noni Anika Rose and Terrence Howard.
