After teasing the initials on Twitter, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have finally revealed the names of their twins. The girl is Monroe Cannon and the boy is Moroccan Scott Cannon.The origin of the boy’s name is from where Nick proposed to Mariah, the top tier of her New York City apartment which is called the “Moroccan Room.” Scott is Nick’s middle name as well as his grandmother’s maiden name. Little Moroccan will be nicknamed Roc.
As for the origin of Monroe’s name, it is after Marilyn Monroe, who is Mariah’s idol. She will have no middlename just like Mariah has no middle name.
