On Saturday the 26th of September 2009, the attention of the music industry turns to urban contemporary vocalist Obiora Obiwon as he releases long awaited sophomore LP The Rebirth in a live concert. For several months smash first single off the album, Obi Mu O has steadily increased the anticipation being a major favourite on the radio and on the streets.

The Rebirth Album Launch Concert assembles celebrities, friends and fans at the Genesis Deluxe Cinemas same day of release in two different sessions of approximately 90 minutes each. The V.I.P Concert starts with red carpet reception at 3pm to kick off 4pm while the Regular Concert is billed for 6pm.

Insiders note that the concert which aims at creating new levels of excellence in musical performance within the country will also incorporate the artiste’s signature dance and chereographed routines. The performances usher in other hit-bound themes on the album such as Lift Your Hands, Victorious, Birthday and Bless U Lady. Special appearances will also be made by favourite artistes Bracket, Jay Martins, M.i, Iboboy Illbliss, Rooftop MCs, Segun Obe, Jahdiel, Kani, Guchi Young, Yaw, Alibaba and a host of others.

“I truly believe this was well worth the long wait…We felt like, what other way to get the album rolling than some good entertaining live performance…” Obiwon explains as preparations for The Rebirth’s take off tighten at his independent label home Jdimusic.

Few day's ago, i did a post here about Nigeria's first millionaire from the country's biggest television games show, Who Want's To Be a Millionaire. The event sponsored by the nations giant communication network, MTN no doubt has taken it's place as a force to reckon with in the numerous television programming content. (When i published the post, someone left a comment saying i was behind time...hmn! na im sabi sha o!...the comment said that particular show was aired six months ago and asked me to cross check my information well...it's not easy to see a fellow man make the millions that we feel we should be making right? abeg, make una help me beg that person make im no direct him anger to me..am just a blogger o!...:))

Anyhow sha,! 36 year old bachelor from Nnewi Anambra State, Chimuanya ‘Aroma’ Ufodike became the first contestant since the 2004 debut of MTN’s ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Nigeria’, to win the ultimate prize of N10Million. He answered all 15 questions correctly. The closest to Aroma's record breaking fit was when journalist Osahon Osazua, who writes for Observer newspaper, a graduate from the University of Benin won five million naira two months ago.

Aroma read Geography from the University of Nsukka and has a masters degree from the University of Lagos. He was a former banker with Diamond bank and now an entrepreneur who deals in large quantities of steel Iron. A business he started in 2005. He has a twin brother who lives in the States.

(Hmnn....i think he is cute too o! Where are all the single ladies in the house, heard the bro is still single ooooooooooooo!)

The show was televised all over Nigeria on Friday the 11TH of September and Sunday 13th Septemebr 8pm, on NTA, STV, TVC, MITV and Superscreen TV stations.
