The Black Eyed Peas did their best last night during the Super Bowl halftime performance.
They didn't have any of Christina Aguilera's mistakes, but sometimes the sound problems flooded the mix including Fergie's vocals coming in late on several songs.

The quartet kicked off with 'I Got a Feeling' and 'Boom Boom Pow'. Then Fregie was joined by Slash to perform 'Sweet Child O' Mine'. Usher also came on stage for a rendition of 'O.M.G.'. The group finished up on its own with 'Where is the Love' and 'The Time (Dirty Bit)".
"So the Peas did not sound amazing, but they were very entertaining! Much better. Perez Hilton wrote on Twitter. "The Black Eyed Peas just kicked ass at the Super Bowl. Great performance!!!! It was perfect. The dancers were insane", Avril Lavigne also wrote.
But Steve Martin was more critical about their performance: "I learned so much about love during the halftime show. And then at the end when it said, "The Beginning", I thought 'Wow.' Just. Wow", he said.
