Hailing from one of the world's pre-eminent musical families, Janet Jackson is used to being recognised wherever she goes.


But the singer left bystanders doing a double-take yesterday as she stepped out for lunch in London with a dramatic new hairstyle.

Janet has had her long curly locks shorn off and is now sporting a new short crop which she wore in a slicked back, gelled style.

Ok..even me could not believe it was her until after a double check...
But still, Janet looks gorgeous...
