B.R.E.A.K.I.N.G. NEWS: PDP Chairman Vincent Ogbulafor Resigns

Embattled National Chair-man of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Vincent Ogbulafor has caved in to pressure and resigned his position.

Sources said Ogbulafor would present his resignation letter to the party today. He is also expected to address members of PDP National Working Committee (NWC) today.

Meanwhile, governors elected on the platform of PDP have commenced search for a possible replacement for Ogbulafor.

Former Enugu State Governor and former National Secretary of PDP, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo and former Minister of Defence Aguiyi-Ironsi had been mentioned as possible replacement for Ogbulafor. It was, however, gathered that the search may have been expanded to accommodate other “credible and acceptable” candidates.
