FAZE+IKECHUKWU+SAGE+FUNMI IYANDA

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO 'A FAZE'!

Ok, it almost skipped me there but am glad my instincts are still very much in check...lol.
Happy birthday to 'a faze'...someone had to ask me happy birthday to 'a faze'? and i said yes.
I always say that birthday's are like a new page in our lives, a new faze that we are moving to and i dare say that FAZE really has done a lot for the Nigerian music industry.
i salute his courage and focus, so as he adds another year to his age, its definately not too much to say:

Killzone Album Launch Party
Nigeria, infact Lagos was at a stand still recently as it all went down.
Am talking about the extraordinary Exclusive Launch Event for one of Africa's Biggest Stars, Mtv and Channel O award winning Hip Hop Icon Ikechukwu
The Crowd was explosive...
the 'men' were also fully represented.

Still on Nigerian artistes making it real big,few days ago, i wrote about him and how wonderful he is and continue to be...todayam not actually going to say so but rather am gonna ask you to come out and support the man who has revolutionalised. The man who has carved a niche for himself and inevitably established himself as an authority...SAGE! The sophomore spoken word/songspeak album of the sage is entitled Twinkle Twinkle SuperStar...The album listening and media parley will also witness performances by album guests and naija neo soul upcoming stars.

CHANGE-A-LIFE-PROJECT

Funmi Iyanda

The project, which is championed by Ms. Funmi Iyanda, began in 2002 with the support of the former governor of Lagos State Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Sixty-eight people were awarded grants of N10,000 each for micro-businesses and educational projects.

Change-A-Life has been intervening in the lives of people when they need it most. One of the original beneficiaries of the scheme Ms. Sekinat Ayeyemi is now the current project co-coordinator.

Change-A-Life is about people, regardless of gender, ethnicity or religion. It’s about changing the face of humanity one person at a time. With the continued assistance of the Lagos State Government, the project has evolved into a family support scheme for exceptional but indigent young people who come from one-parent homes. Over the years, Change-A-Life has affected 150 children and over 3000 people with its scholarship and health care support services.

The 7th Edition of the Change A Life Project was broadcast Live on NTA Network & LTV on Saturday February 21, 2009 at 7pm.
