THE LAST YEAR WINNER... Edgar Chima C. Ononuju

Edgar Chima C. Ononuju constitutes a symbol among models. He is questionably among the sexiest models in the industry, for those of you who don’t know him. With his faith in God and his dedication to hard work, he broke through this niche and gained visibility in the world of modeling. A young man who never rests on his oars, he yet again proved himself when His hard work, focus and dedication were finally rewarded as a thrilled super-bowl-sized audience welcomed his success with thunderous applause as he was named the winner of the DUKE OF ESTAERN NIGERIA 2008.
It is no surprise though that he won, as Edgar is handsome, charming, and intelligent.

Having taken hold in Nigeria, Edgar moved onto the international stage to compete in the world’s second biggest male pageant, MR INTERNATIONAL.
Here at the Idea Room, we say its either Edgar is blessed or he is just a simple genius; sharing stage with over one hundred and fifty (150) other contestants from around the world, ten million (10m) global viewers and over a hundred (100) media organisations represented at the epoch event, edgar definitely stood out again, winning Best Talent, Best Personality and also coming best at TOP 15.
Having done so outstanding in representing Nigeria proudly at such an event, Edgar will be flying the nation’s flag high as he represents the country at this year’s MANHUNT INTERNATIONAL PAGEANT billed for South Korea.

A 300 level history and international relations student from the Imo State University Nigeria,
Edgar who is in his early twenties (20’s) has been doing great and has done huge campaign advertisements for various companies and has embraced the cover of many magazines after walking away as the grand prize winner in 2008.
Edgar is presently working actively on his pet project and also is the brand face for the next edition of the FACE & DUKE OF WORLD NIGERIA
