MOBO AWARDS + NAIJA'S TOP 10 RICHEST MEN

Hi folks, whats going down today? Hmnn, the days seem to be runing faster to catch up with the nights and the nights seem eager to wake up to day, i dont but i have the strong feelings that the weeks are running even faster than i anticipated. How far have you gone, have you been able to achieve at least some of the things you set out to achieve since the beginning of this year, well, if you have, am happy for you but if you have not, then dont give up, you still have some time on your hand to make that difference, take the day as it come with passion and go out. Remember that a journey of a life time must start from somewhere. This has definitely been Estelle’s year and she was rewarded with two MOBO Awards for best UK female, and best song for her hit “American Boy”. Leona Lewis’ won best video for ‘Bleeding Love‘ and best album for the multi-million selling “Spirit“.

A bevy of names showed up for the awards including Taio Cruz, John Legend, Billy Ocean, Djibril Cisse, Grace Jones, Melanie Brown, and Chipmunk. This annual award show is growing in stature and founder Kanya King said, “I hope that we can inspire a new generation of talent to follow their lead and fulfill their dreams.”

Best Song: American Boy, Estelle
Best Video: Leona Lewis
Best Album: Spirit, Leona Lewis
Best Jazz: YolanDa Brown
Best International Act: Chris Brown
Best R&B Soul: Chris Brown
Lifetime Achievement Award: Mary Wilson formerly of the Supremes
Best UK Male Artist: Dizzee Rascal
Best HipHop: Li’l Wayne
