After rumors of his firing hit the internet last week, industry executive L.A. Reid has officially announced that he has decided to step down from his position as President of Def Jam Records.
The former President of Def Jam sent a memo to his staff stating that he has decided to leave his position & proud he was of his roster of talent at the company.
L.A. Reid was recently tapped to be one of the judges of Simon Cowell’s new U.S. “X-Factor” show.
