Reps for Rihanna responded to Donald Trump’s harsh criticism against the singer after she allegedly bailed out at the last minute on her $500,000 performance for his charity event/fundraiser to party and perform during the NBA All Star Weekend in L.A.
According to Trump, he was told hours before the event that Rihanna wouldn’t be able to perform because she was sick, however, she was spotted partying that night with Jay-z & friends at the 2 Kings Dinner as well as performed 24 hours later at the NBA All Star Game.
The singer’s representative made a steatement to Access Hollywood saying:
“Rihanna was recovering [from] bronchitis and her doctor advised her not to get on a plane as she would risk losing her voice and damaging her vocal chords. She feels terrible she couldn’t attend but was so grateful Jennifer Hudson graciously stepped in.”Damn it must be nice to be able to turn down a half million dollars just to party the night away geez.
