KOKO MANSION UPDATE

hey peeps, how y'all doing? ok, i had finished my post for the day before i got an update from James Amuta, publicist for the Koko Mansion. Generally, i think the show is picking up and doing better than when it started.

here are updates from the house.
Enjoy...

The Koko Master himself(D'banj)

Identifying the qualities to look out for in an ideal woman, up until one week ago had been a daunting task. But who could ever guess that this search for the acceptable definition of an Ideal Nigerian Woman could be forged on the platform of reality TV; based on a 12-hour daily live observation of the activities and lifestyle of 12 dynamic young Nigerian women.
Just going on its second week on live cable television; the concept of Koko Mansion has inspired a heated debate on what constitutes the qualities of the ideal Nigerian woman.
Nigerians and Nigerians in the Diaspora have become addictively involved in this debate ? contributing their views from all over the world ? using the Koko Mansion forum on the Koko Mansion website, Koko Mansion Facebook fan page, and the interactive SMS 2 TV platforms as the interface for the debate.
This debate continues, attracting more debaters, and will linger for the next 7 weeks until only one young lady emerges as the embodiment of the qualities that define the ideal woman. But which of the 12 young ladies in the Koko Mansion would emerge as the flesh and blood definition of the Ideal Nigerian woman?

To answer this question: many have resorted to the ardent observation of the individual qualities of the 12 beautiful Kokolets presently living in the Koko Mansion, using them as case study to illustrate their various opinions on the issue. But then, a few activities, tasks, and training were given to these housemates in order to analyze their personalities, develop their individual and collective skills, and project their dynamic characteristics to the world for the sake of this debate.

The first training these ladies received was in elocution, poise, and etiquettes, delivered by the amiable finishing school instructor, Mrs. Grace Oforiokuma. The ladies? table manners and presentation skills improved tremendously after that encounter. Their first task was deemed relatively simple, but it turned out to have been more demanding that they actually thought. They were asked by D?banj to make a short presentation of themselves, using clippings from old photo albums, and other personal memorabilia to illustrate the highlights of their journey through life.

That task was judged by Dbanj, Ikechukwu, Dr (Mrs.) Jinadu, and the governess, Chika Anadu. In the end, Bolanle Okhiria emerged winner with 51 points, followed closely by Rita Isoken Igbinedion who scored 47 points. As a result of this, they (and Bidemi, whom Bolanle picked as the winner's plus-one?) were rewarded with a dinner date with Dbanj and the Mo Hits Crew at Jade Palace.
Dbanj also gave the ladies an assignment to put together a tribute to Michael Jackson, using the song We are the World? for the presentation. To get this assignment on the road, the ladies were tutored and groomed by the multi-talented instrumentalist, Yemi Sax, in the mansion.

The Nollywood star, Ramsey Noah was also a guest at the mansion. His visit paved way for a forum that highlighted some of the challenges experienced by the film industry in Nigeria. Julius the Genius Agwu was another celebrity guest in the mansion; he cracked the ladies up with an endless supply of his hilarious jokes.

However, the most remarkable celebrity visit occurred on Friday night, when Dbanj, Don Jazzy, Ikechukwu, Wande Coal, and Dr. Sid stormed the mansion with gravitating fanfare.

The ladies ended up being entertained briefly by Wande Coal who teased the ladies with his sonorous voice. The ladies were jarred from slumber on Sunday evening at the eviction show. At about 5PM, all the contestants were instructed to pack their bags and report downstairs for eviction. They were shocked, but then they remembered the in-house eviction-nomination exercise which they all participated in, a few days ago.
They all gladly nominated their fellow housemates for eviction, and in the end, four contestants had the highest number of nominations - voted by two contestants each. Shona, Bolanle, Victoria, and Mary faced possible eviction, but Dbanj's leniency came to play, and he exercised his lifeline in saving all the ladies from eviction.

But thats where his lifeline was exhausted from this week, if two girls are up for eviction he only has the power to save just one of them. The voting lines will be open to the public this week, and only your votes can keep your favorite contestants in the Koko Mansion. And ultimately, only your votes can determine who emerges as the definition of an ideal Nigerian woman from the Koko Mansion.

R'Kelly has always been a fave musical act of mine, i grew up knowing his music, learning the words and even miming along virtually all of his songs and of course looked forward to seeing and meeting him one day, well it was a fine dream i dreamt for long, at a point in time when i moved over to Nigeria and the whole concerts where foreign artistes were being brought to naija, i guess i told myself ok, if i cant travel to mecca to see the mountain, the perhaps the mountain will surely come see me, but the again i had to give up that thought, after a friend finely convinced me of the fact that R'Kelly will never visit africa, talk alone Nigeria.

Reason: He is scared of water and will never want to fly over the ocean, where this person got this fact from, am yet to know till date but some how, i believed this myth...looking back, i cant imagine how is succeeded...anyway, Finally, the guy is here and thats all that matter.

Ok, the concert was fantastic, you know how R'Kelly always does it...

Here are some pics from the event, enjoy!

Surprise! Neither MJ or Debbie Rowe are the Biological Parents!

SHOCKING!!!( At least to ME!)

jackos-kids-unmasked2

Ok peeps, may be am the only one that never really looked hard, i mean read between the lines or everyone is simply f**ked...am just gonna have to be a lil blunt here.

I had the most amazing night, i mean the best dreams i have had in a long while and then am i get the most weird of them all as news feeder: 'Michael Jackson was not the biological father of any of his children' And 'Debbie Rowe is not the biological mother of the two kids she bore for Michael'. 'All three children were conceived in vitro — outside the womb'.

Maybe i should go back to sleep, perhaps am still in wonderland, except its the shocking reality!

Multiple sources deeply connected to the births says Michael was not the sperm donor for any of his kids. Debbie’s eggs were not used. She was merely the surrogate, and paid well for her services in the births of Michael Jr. and Paris.

In the case of Prince Michael II (the youngest), the surrogate was never told of the identity of the “receiving parent” — Michael Jackson. Three days after Prince was born at Grossmont Hospital in San Diego County, Jackson’s lawyer came to the hospital to pick the baby up and deliver him to Michael. We do not know if Jackson chose the sperm or egg donors or if he even knew who they were.

Although Rowe is not the biological mother, it’s not a slam dunk that she would lose a custody battle. This type of case has never been litigated in California courts. Since Rowe was married to Jackson when Michael Jr. and Paris were born, there’s a presumption that she’s the biological parent. That presumption can be rebutted by other evidence.
there's said to be documents outlining the whole arrangement for the birth of all three kids. Nonetheless, it’s still an open issue with the courts.

Damn...i honestly think this is one serious Hollyweird flick at its finest.

Alike juggles these identities in order to gain acceptance from her family and friends but, at some point, this becomes too much. As Alike finds, many of the gender constructs that society imposes apply not only to relationships involving men and women, but also same gender relationships.
