QUESTION+9ICE+HIPHOP AWARDS+ RITA DOMINIC+OGE OKOYE

Imagine catching a seven-year-old boy sticking his p--- into a six-year-old girl’s v----.

You rushed to them and separated the young ‘lovers’.

Then you asked them, “what do you think you are doing?” To which the boy replied,” we are playing dad and mum. And that is one of the things dad and mum do in the movies we watch on television?”

The scenario painted above is not a work of fiction but if we would be honest with ourselves something that you and i have once in our life time been caught up in...at least, at a very tender age.

Linda Ikeji and i have been deliberating in the last few days the right age to marry and also at what age it is considered perfect to engage in sexual activities.

Really, what do you guys think? is there a perfect age to get married as a woman? What about the men? and is there a right age to have sex...i mean to start FUCKING??? (did i just use that word? i don dey spoil o! )

Hip Hop Awards 09 moved to Abuja
HHWA since its inception in 2006, has been held in different locations in Lagos but this year, it goes to Abuja. Ayo Animashaun explains “So many times we have been confronted by people that HHWA only celebrates Lagos based acts, that is part of the reasons we are embarking on this journey outside Lagos.

Moreso we have looked around and found that the only venue that fits what we are trying to achieve this year is in Abuja.

Banky W and Kemi Adetiba will host while 9ice, MI, Timaya, Kel, Lord of Ajasa and others perform. It’s taking place on the 19th of May at the International Conference Centre.

Alluring Rita Dominic in photo show

Delectable actress, Rita Dominic, made an appearance at the Victoria Island office of Multichoice during the week.Rita, who looked radiant with her trademark red lipstick and cropped up hair, wore a tee-shirt top over a hip hugging black pants. The actress was all smiles as she posed in front of the company’s billboards, inside the complex, for photo session. She later took photographs with some fans outside the complex before leaving.

Asa gets BMW X3

Bukola Elemide (a.k.a Asa) spent the better part of last year hopping across continents; recording, performing and promoting her self-titled debut album.

Now Asa is spending more time at home; reconnecting with Lagosians and luring her French label to set up shop in the city.

The road has been rough and tough for the young lady and her manager, Janet Nwose. But despite all the turmoil and tribulations, they didn‘t keep their eyes off the goal; didn‘t allow distractions to cause them to veer off course.

Now, even though it‘s obvious they‘re yet to arrive the final destination, it is clear for all to see that the script has changed; the venture is now paying off; the girls are, right about now, smiling. They‘re smiling at us from the comfort of a BMW X3- a compact SAV (sports activity vehicle) made on the heels of the success of the X5.

Asa and Janet hit the streets with the black vehicle last week; eventually bidding farewell to the days of car hire and Taxis. Expectedly, the number plate is not customized. And, because there are now several X3s on Lagos roads, (including one belonging to Joke Jaiyesimi), you might find it difficult to spot the singer‘s ride in traffic.

Meanwhile, Asa has confirmed to friends that she‘s already working on a follow-up to her debut album. She told reporters in Lagos last week that she has commenced work on the album, but was yet to provide details. It is believed that the album will still be on her French label Naïve Records.

WHERE IS OGE OKOYE?

She is actually one of the most sought-after actresses in the Nigerian movie industry. Since Oge Okoye rose to stardom few years ago, she has been the toast of movie buffs, including directors, producers and marketers.

According to some of the fans, since she got married and gave birth to a baby sometime last year, much has not been heard about her again.

In fact, some of them who claimed they hitherto saw her at night clubs noted that it’s been long they saw her last.

i BEG, WHO KNOW WHERE OGE DEY Ooo? Is she still in America?

for now, am out....see you guys soon

ABC's THE BACHELOR REALITY SHOW

If you don’t watch ABC’s The Bachelor then you’re probably asking, “Would I what?”. Before I explain my question, let me just say first hand that I don’t watch The Bachelor either. I find it insulting and highly degrading that Women would subject themselves shame just to find a guy. And these Women aren’t the kind of desperate whory Women you’ll find from Bret Michaels’ Rock of Love. The Women from The Bachelor all look decent, intelligent and professionals. But for some reason they think it’s ok to go on a reality show to find a husband. Anyway, I only found out what happened on the show last night because a freind from The View spent about 20 minutes painfully reliving the nightmare that was The Bachelor finale.

Apparently, The Bachelor’s decision was controversial. See, Jason Mesnick dumped the girl named Molly for the girl named Melissa. But wait, during the finale reunion, he changed his mind, dumped Melissa, and then went back to Molly. Oh My Gosh! I know that there are still a few Men out there who act like dogs but I don’t know anyone who would do it on national TV for millions to see. And to think this Bachelor is a Father. Being a Single Dad was the major factor of the show. The Women were all just itching to be the stepmother of the little boy.

Now if you are a Man reading this, my question is, would you dump a girl (cry your heart out about how much it hurts to do so) for another girl, and then dump that girl to go back to the other girl?

If you are a woman, would you accept the proposal after you were already dumped and humiliated?

I could go on and and on about what a jerk this Jason Mesnick is but the show had women who wanted to be his “wife”. They said Love is blind, but come on now. There are also the things called brains, decency, self-esteem, self-respect and oooh I don’t know, match.com or eharmony.com.

Having said all that, I have a conspiracy theory going on in my head. What if it wasn’t The Bachelor’s decision to go this way? What if ABC instructed him to dump Molly, pick Mellisa, then dump her and then pick Molly? It’s a twist for the TV ratings my friends. The show needed a MAJOR ta-daaaah moment to keep the viewers glued on TV.

This will then make Melissa, the next Bachelorette who will find her own Man after being dumped on TV. It’s the best scenario for a the next season. Hey, I’m just saying.

Like I said, it’s a theory so please don’t sue me for libel, or whatever. I hope you enjoyed the “Womanizer’ video that a perturbed fan made and posted on YouTube .

THE GIANT WITHIN...

I woke up this morning and as usual decided to do my early morning rituals;reflections...so many things raced thru my mind and took me down memory lane to ponder over all the madness that seems to surrounds us...all the things that seek to take our attention from our golas, our visions, the prize of that higher calling.

I dont know how many of you have been in that confused state that quitting became the only option; i have, infact several times and with each attempt to quit, i have also remained more steadfast...but one thing is important to note, Prayer!
It has always kept me in there, coming out strong and facing my challenges with much vogor. Hmnn...as i wonder the many times people have told me it cant be done, this task is way too much for you, no one has ever succeeded at it, and the many times i have come through just by the art of a simple prayer, dedication and focus, i ask myself if there is actually an excuse to failure.

What ever you are facing today, what ever seem to want you wanna quit, whatever makes you wanna do that thing that your conscience right;y tells you isnt right, whatever...just whatever...
ALWAYS KNOW THAT:

Within You Is The Strength To Meet Life's Challenges!
You are stronger than you think, remember to stand tall.

Every challenge in your lifehelps you to grow.

Every problem you encounterstrengthens your mind and your soul.

Every trouble you overcomeincreases your understanding of life.

When all your troubles weighheavily on your shoulders, remember that beneath the burdenyou can stand tall, because you are never givenmore than you can handle...and you are stronger than you think.

If all of my thoughts are still not strong enough to persuade you...then again think...think...think...
If you think you are unhappy, look at them

When you feel like giving up, think of this man

If you think you suffer in life, do you suffer as much as he does?

If you think you don't have many friends...

If you think your salary is low, how about her?

If you complain about your transport system, how about them?

If your society is unfair to you, how about her?

If you’ve been working on a worthy goal for a while and haven’t produced the results you wanted, keep on trying. You may just be a foot or two from the diamond field. So keep on digging no matter what obstacles you might encounter.

Please remember, you’re much stronger than any obstacles life can throw at you.
When you face an obstacle, examine your actions. And if they seem to be taking you further away from your goals, change your approach and take new actions.

Keep your goals and dreams by your side as you work toward turning them into reality. Follow the wise advice from Winston Churchill:

ALWAYS REMEMBER:God’s Delays Aren’t God’s Denials!
